Click the button to take you to the registration page. Make sure you go all the way through the registration process. You will receive an email once you have completed your registration. |
Does registering guarantee that I have a seat?
You will be guaranteed a seat once you receive a confirmation email. Seats on each bus are limited to 55. Can I ride the bus one-way?
The short answer is maybe. We will first open registration for round-trip riders to register before December 10, 2022. If the bus is not filled up at that time, we will open registration for one-way riders. If you are interested in riding the bus one-way, please email the Registrar and include what city you would ride from/to and which way you would want to ride (to Urbana/from Urbana). We will do our best to make space for you to ride the bus one-way at a slightly reduced cost, but in order to cover the cost of the bus, we will prioritize round-trip passengers. You CAN register for a Round-Trip ride (paying the full cost) but only ride the bus one-way. If you choose this option, please email the Registrar after you register letting us know that this is your plan.

Can I cancel my reservation? Will I get a refund?
Yes, you can cancel for a full refund by December 15th at 11:59pm ET.
We will not be able to offer any cancellations for a refund after that time. Should you need to cancel after that time, we may be able to refund your money if there is a person on the waiting list who can fill your seat. Should that not be the case, you will have the opportunity to find someone to take your seat. If the seat remains empty, no refund will be given.

I used a scholarship code when I registered, but just got an email saying I have a balance. What happened?
The code given to you by your staff may have been a temporary code to bypass the registration deposit. If you are getting a scholarship from your school or InterVarsity chapter (make sure you check in with your staff about this), the code will be taken out and the scholarship will be applied to your balance. You will be responsible for paying any remaining balance after the scholarship is applied. If there is a discrepancy or incorrect balance listed, please contact your staff first to confirm your scholarship amount and then contact the registrar.

What if I am running late in getting to the pick-up point?
Each bus will have a Bus Coordinator on board. That person's name and phone number will be sent in an email by December 20th. Should you find you are running a few minutes late, your first step is to call your Bus Coordinator. However, you should not assume that the bus will wait for you! Give yourself ample time to get to the pick-up location on December 27th.

Will I be able to park my car somewhere while I am gone?
We strongly recommend getting dropped off and picked up at the pick-up point. While parking may be an option in some pick-up locations, InterVarsity is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles parked while you are gone.

What about food while we are on the road?
The bus will stop for meals (see below). You can bring cash or a credit card to grab food during those stops. When the bus stops for fuel, you may also have a few minutes to grab a snack/drink, but you should plan on bringing snacks that you can eat on the bus. Maybe your IV community can plan together to bring some food to share (PB & J, anyone?).
